This Interactive Nutcracker, the only one of its kind in the area, invites each audience member to participate in this timeless holiday classic. Choreography is by award-winning Artistic Director, Gary Taylor. Sets are by award-winning designer, Howard Jones. Lighting is by Craig Stelzenmueller.  Original costumes are designed by artistic director and founder Rita Taylor. This year’s performance features several new set additions.

A favorite of the young people is the special Land of the Sweets performances held on Saturday, December 20th at 11am and 2pm.  These Nutcracker shows are tailored for children and feature a parade of characters giving everyone a chance to meet the Nutcracker cast in full costume and have photo and autograph opportunities.  Make sure to come early for the festivities as doors open one hour prior to performances.

Educators are encouraged to contact High Point Ballet in regards to the Nutcracker Student Performance Series offering special during-the-school-day performances at drastically reduced ticket rates.  Performance dates are December 16th-18th.  Additional information can be obtained by calling 336-889-2480.
