With the magic of Drosselmeyer, Clara’s dream comes to life in the holiday tradition of the story of The Nutcracker. Swirling with heroic toy soldiers, sword-fighting rats, and the glittering Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, High Point Ballet’s beloved production is brought to life through the award-winning choreography of Artistic Director Gary Taylor, stunning sets by Howard Jones, and radiant lighting by Craig Stelzenmueller. Together, they create an unforgettable experience that captures the spirit of the season.

High Point Ballet’s Nutcracker opened in 1987 at the Edward C Smith Civic Center in Lexington. From there High Point Ballet’s Nutcracker has performed throughout the Triad, and is now in its ninth full season back at the High Point Theatre.
